Welcome to Atlas. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Atlas application, website (findatlas.ai), and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Atlas is an AI-powered research and landscaping platform designed to help users generate structured technology landscapes, company analyses, and literature reviews. The Service processes user-provided prompts, research briefs, and parameters to generate structured reports using artificial intelligence models and external search APIs.

2. User Accounts

To use Atlas, you must authenticate using a valid Google account or other supported authentication methods. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

3. Intellectual Property and Content

Your Content: You retain full ownership of the inputs, prompts, and research briefs you submit to the Service ("User Content"). You also own the final reports and landscapes generated by the Service based on your inputs ("Generated Output"), subject to any underlying third-party rights in the raw data.

Our Rights: Atlas retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service itself, including our software, algorithms, methodologies, UI/UX designs, and any improvements or modifications made to the platform.

4. AI Generation Disclaimer

You understand and acknowledge that the Generated Output is produced using artificial intelligence models and automated web search tools. While we strive for high quality, AI-generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information ("hallucinations").

• You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and validating the Generated Output before relying on it for business, academic, or strategic decisions.
• The Service is provided for informational and research purposes only. Generated Output does not constitute professional, legal, medical, or formal investment advice.

5. Acceptable Use

By using the Service, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or underlying models of the Service.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or interact with the Service outside of provided APIs.
• Submit prompts or inputs that violate the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or terms of service of any third party.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may also stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ATLAS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; OR (C) ANY RELIANCE ON THE GENERATED OUTPUT.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
